Animal Crossing: New Horizons Spring Update
The new Animal Crossing update includes a feature long requested by regular players. All players will earn 50 additional Custom Design Slots for Normal and Professional Custom Designs, but that’s just the start.
Pick up the Custom Design Pro Editor + for 2,000 Nook Miles and you’ll unlock a brand new Variety Good section for your custom designs, letting you customize the look of umbrellas, uchiha fans, flags and photo props.
Purchase the Custom Designs Portal for 300 Nook Miles and you will be able to access the Able Sisters Portal right from your phone! It will save a minute or two from rushing across the island.
As spring arrives, new items are added to the Nook Shopping app, including whoopee cushions for April Fool’s Day. They will be available from March 26 to April 1. Stylish prom-themed clothing will also be added to Able Sisters and Nook Shopping from April 1-30, including ball gowns, ballroom floor, and ballroom stash. It’s time to get started!
Creator of island tours
Starting March 23, New Horizons players will have access to a new Island Tour Creator feature. Currently slated to last until the end of the year, this feature will allow players to use screenshots from Animal Crossing: New Horizons to create a poster and trailer for their island, essentially making advertising its best qualities to all your friends. Further details will be announced via Animal Crossing’s Twitter account.
Starting March 26, Animal Crossing: New Horizons players in the US will be able to purchase the Sanrio Collaboration Pack at target stores across the country. Costing $ 5.99, it includes amiibo cards that you can use to invite Sanrio-themed animals to your island. You can swap bells for a collection of Sanrio furniture like rugs, tables, beds, and Hello Kitty chairs.
And that’s all that’s coming in the Animal Crossing: New Horizons spring update for March 18 and beyond! The extended designs will be a much appreciated addition and we can’t wait to see what other ideas players come up with for us to copy. Uh we mean to be inspired by it.
