Apple Now Allows Developers To Create Custom Product Pages On The App Store

In June, Apple announced at WWDC21 that it will eventually allow app developers to create custom product pages on the App Store. This allows them to present different content, such as icons, screenshots, and descriptions, to different people. Developers will have access to statistics based on each product page to find out what appeals to users the most. In addition, they will have the option to share personalized pages through unique links to highlight certain events or in-app features at a specific time. The Cupertino giant is now rolling out these new additions to all registered developers around the world.

As 9to5Mac reports, Apple has share a post on its developer website announcing the availability of these features. Developers around the world should be able to use them today. The company explains what each of the new features aims and does:

  • Optimization of the product page. Try other versions of your app’s product page with different icons, screenshots, and app previews to see which one performs the best. Each version is presented to a randomly selected percentage of eligible App Store users and the results appear in App Analytics, so you can set the best performing to show everyone on the App Store.
  • Custom product pages. Create additional versions of your app’s product page to highlight specific features or content, discoverable through unique URLs you share. Custom product pages can have different screenshots, app previews, and promotional text – and are fully localizable – so you can showcase a sport, character, show, game feature, and more.

Joining the Apple Developer Program costs $ 99 per year. It allows programmers to publish their applications to the Apple App Store on all of its platforms. It also allows them to take advantage of the latest relevant tools, such as recently published custom product pages. This is in addition to access to beta versions of the developers of the company’s operating systems.
