Dur-A-Flex’s Design-A-Floor tool works on desktops and mobile devices.

“We are delighted to launch Design-A-Floor. This tool takes the guesswork out of design, ”says Ken Barnum, vice president of marketing for Dur-A-Flex.

Visualizing what new furniture in a room might look like to some is a simple task. To others, it may seem intimidating. When ordering items such as curtains or furniture, the lack of vision may not be a deterrent, but when choosing more durable accessories such as flooring, it can delay or even stop the process of decision. Connecticut-based softwood flooring manufacturer Dur-A-Flex, Inc. has installed a new web-based solution that solves this problem: Design-A-Floor.

“We are delighted to launch Design-A-Floor. This tool takes the guesswork out of design, ”says Ken Barnum, vice president of marketing for Dur-A-Flex. Users can choose from thirteen preset images of parts or upload their own image. From there, they can choose from several different styles of resin flooring including: chip, quartz, metallic, or solid colors. In addition to choosing from Dur-A-Flex’s standard blends and colors, users can design their own custom chip or quartz blends. “We loaded over 140 vinyl chip colors and our 23 standard quartz colors – designers can create any number of color combinations,” says Barnum. Once a look is decided, custom floor samples can be ordered. Design-A-Floor is optimized for mobile, which will benefit users in the field. “Our flooring contractors can upload a photo of their client’s installation while they’re at it and show different flooring and colors,” Barnum explains.

Resin flooring commonly referred to as epoxy flooring has seen significant growth over the years. Mordor Intelligence predicts that the global epoxy market will experience a CAGR of over four percent between the period 2021-2026. The growing awareness of the benefits of industrial flooring is expected to drive the market growth. These advantages include strength, durability and chemical resistance.

What were once considered flooring solutions for industrial spaces or the back of the house have moved on to consumer solutions. Resin floors are installed in halls, corridors, offices, restaurants, healthcare and pharmaceutical facilities, schools and even homes. The transition to the front of the house has increased demands for flexibility in design. Architects and designers have asked for more design options and this tool will not only help them create unique and personalized flooring, but it will also help them share their vision of a space.

MOUNTAIN VIEW, CALIFORNIA, 20 October 2021 – Synopsys, Inc. today announced that it has expanded its strategic technology collaboration with TSMC to deliver the next level of system integration to meet increasingly critical performance, power and surface area goals for high performance computing (HPC) applications. By leveraging Synopsys’ 3DIC compiler platform, customers significantly advance the design of high-capacity 3D systems through efficient access to TSMC 3DFabric-based design methodologies. Those Methodologies provide 3D chip stacking support in System-on-Integrated-Chips (TSMC-SoIC) technology and advanced 2.5 / 3D packaging support in Integrated Fan-Out (InFO) and Chip-on-Wafer-on-Substrate (CoWoS) technologies. The merging of support for these advanced methodologies into the highly integrated multi-die design of the 3DIC compiler platform addresses the complete challenge from exploration to approval, leading to the future realization of hyperconverged 3D systems of new generation comprising hundreds of billions of transistors in a single package.

“TSMC is working closely with our Open Innovation Platform (OIP) ecosystem partners to enable the next wave of innovation in the HPC space,” said Suk lee, vice president of TSMC’s Design Infrastructure Management division. “This joint effort combining Synopsys’ 3DIC compiler platform and TSMC’s advanced chip stacking and packaging technologies will help our customers meet design demands for power and performance and succeed in designs. state-of-the-art SoC for HPC applications.

The 3DIC Compiler platform is a complete end-to-end solution for efficient 2.5 / 3D multi-die design and full system integration. Built on the common single data model infrastructure of Synopsys Fusion Design Platform, the 3DIC compiler platform merges transformative multi-matrix design capabilities and takes advantage of world-class implementation and approval technologies from Synopsys to offer a complete exploration platform for approval – all in a single, consolidated 3DIC cockpit. This hyperconverged solution includes 2D and 3D visualization, cross-hierarchy exploration and planning, design and implementation, design for full system testing and validation, and approval analysis.

“The substantial scale-up required for the ever increasing increase in AI-centric and domain-optimized computing workloads requires bold leadership and far-reaching, collaborative innovation,” said Shankar Krishnamoorthy, Managing Director and Corporate Staff for the Silicon Realization Group at Synopsys. “Our pioneering work with TSMC on their latest 3DFabric technology allows us to imagine and achieve levels of 3D system integration previously unattainable. This leap forward in transistor performance, power and volume density will both impact and help shape many existing and emerging applications and markets, leveraging the 3DIC compiler platform and highly accessible integration technologies from TSMC.

The 3DIC Compiler platform delivers high levels of efficiency while increasing capacity and performance to provide seamless support for various heterogeneous processes and stacked arrays. By leveraging integrated approval solutions including Synopsys PrimeTime sync approval solution, StarRC parasite extraction approval, Tweaker ECO closure solution and IC Validator physical verification solution coupled with the Ansys RedHawk-SC Electrothermal family of multi-physics analysis solutions and testability with the Synopsys TestMax DFT solution, the 3DIC Compiler platform provides the best co- analysis for the fastest convergence to robust and efficient designs.

Since Animal Crossing: New Horizons‘, talented players have created their own personalized designs to give their villages the outfits of their dreams. That they try to look like My hero universityit’s Deku, Final Fantasy VII‘s Cloud, or even a Persona 5 Phantom thief, these personalized codes make it possible.

If you want to try any of these custom codes but don’t know how to use them, keep reading! Here is a guide on how to use different codes to import any custom design into the game.

Nintendo Switch Online app (QR codes only)

QR codes can be imported into the game through two different methods. The first method is available from the start, as long as you have a Nintendo Switch Online account.

Access your phone (your real life smartphone, not your phone in the game Tom Nook gave you) and download the Nintendo Switch Online app. Once downloaded, open it and log into your account. From there, the next time you open the app, you should see Animal Crossing: New Horizons on your home screen, under the heading “Services specific to the game”.

Via: Kotaku Australia

Now open the app together with your Animal Crossing: New Horizons game at the same time. When you reach the game title screen, press the minus (“-“) button, which will open the settings menu. From there, you can activate NookLink, which is the app that connects your IRL smartphone app to in-game functions.

PLAYER VIDEO OF THE DAY

After completing all of these steps, you can now import custom designs via QR code into your game! Using your IRL phone, navigate to the Nintendo Switch Online app, click Animal crossing, select the “designs” application on NookLink, then scan your QR code with your phone. If it has been successfully scanned, you will see it in your Customs Designs app on your in-game Nook Phone.

Able Sisters – Custom Design Portal

The other way to import custom codes is through the Custom Design Portal, which can be found in the Able Sisters store. Since opening the store takes a little time, this method is not available when you start the game for the first time. However, this is the only method to import alphanumeric codes into the game.

Via: Comment Geek

Note that you will need to log into your Nintendo Switch Online account to access the portal.

After opening the Able Sisters store, head to the back of the store where you will see a hot pink kiosk in the right corner. This is the Custom Design Portal, where you can search for specific custom outfits, search for different designers, and even share your own custom designs. Click “Search by Designer ID” to find a specific outfit; click on “Search by Designer ID” to find a specific designer; or click on “Publish” to upload your own creations.

Via: Game8

If you are looking for a specific design or designer, simply enter the code when prompted and the outfit will appear.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons is available now, exclusively for the Nintendo Switch.
