A step-by-step guide to creating a brand identity with personalized email templates

Building a brand identity has always been an integral part of growing a business. In the past, businesses took decades to establish themselves through rigorous door-to-door marketing and the sale of high-quality products. Nowadays, you can grow your brand by increasing your presence on social media and through online marketing. Within these multiple channels, email marketing has one of the ROI with 3200%. But what is a brand identity and why is it so important?

How important is brand identity?

The visual elements of a brand, such as a logo, colors and designs that distinguish the brand from its competitors, are called brand identity. For example, the Pepsi logo has a relatively simple design that uses only three colors: red, white, and blue. Over the years, Pepsi has built such a strong brand identity that they immediately think of Pepsi whenever people see these three colors.

Nowadays, besides the visuals, you can also set a tone or voice for your brand. Wendy’s Twitter account was the first to break the monotony of corporate tweets and post more personalized tweets and start joking online with its competitors. A similar brand identity can also be created through a well structured email marketing campaign.

How does e-mail branding work?

Branding strategies can also be applied in your email marketing campaigns. You can create a recognizable custom email template using-

Voice

The voice of your email should be instantly recognizable. You can achieve this by creating your email copy in a special way. If multiple people are working on different email copies for your upcoming campaign, you can issue a directive to maintain a similar writing style and tone. Next, you need to decide on the voice of your email, whether you want it to be business or personal.

Email branding abandons direct selling arguments and focuses on building an emotional connection with subscribers. You can then capitalize on their emotional responses to generate leads and build higher engagement.

Colors

Have a consistent color palette in all of your email marketing campaigns will help you develop brand awareness. Starbucks uses its signature green color or a lighter variant of it in all of its emails. They also only use 2 or 3 colors in their emails, which keeps their readers from getting overwhelmed. An added benefit is that green is considered to be one of the best colors for grabbing the attention of the consumer.

Custom font

Using custom fonts for your email templates is another great way to create a unique brand identity. Now, that can be tricky, as there are only a handful of web-safe fonts out there. Therefore, before you venture into dangerous territory, you should check whether you can achieve the desired aesthetic with the Serif and Sans Serif family fonts. If you are determined to use a custom font, make sure you have at least a few fallback fonts to maintain the integrity of your template.

Joss & Main uses quite a few custom fonts in their personalized email template. For the general copy, they use generic fonts, while the title and subtitle are made with custom fonts. This is done to draw the user’s attention to complaints that may give rise to action. Subtitle numbering is also done with custom hollowed out fonts. The fonts have been combined with lighter toned colors to make the email stand out.

Pictures

You can also entice the reader to engage more with the email by using calming images. The images you use in your email campaigns should have a consistent style. Plus, the imagery should align with your mission statement to send a unified message. Moreover, you can also use GIFs to achieve similar effect.

Headspace uses both images and GIFs in its emails to promote its services. The images have warm colors and the animated characters have rounded corners to make the email more inviting and appealing. Their email exudes peace and quiet that fits well with their mission statement.

Mission statement

When your subscribers open your email, they should be able to know what your business stands for. People’s attention spans are shrinking every year. Therefore, the sooner you can establish your brand with your mission statement, the longer you will keep their attention.

From the very first lines of their emails, Shutterstock establishes that they provide images that people can use in their projects and presentations. Shutterstock’s email template is also consistent with the holiday season colors as they use this email template during the holiday season.

Slogans

In recent years, slogans or slogans have become synonymous with brand identity. It would help if you came up with something unique that was also representative of the service and products you market. If you are having trouble creating something creative yourself, you can always hire an experienced copywriter to create one for you.

I like this. Do I have to say something more?

Conclusion on branding and personalized email templates

Even if you are starting your business and lacking the resources to mount a large-scale campaign, you can rely on smaller email marketing campaigns to grow your brand. It would be best if you remembered that you cannot create a brand identity for your business overnight. You will need to consistently follow the techniques mentioned above for an extended period of time to slowly grow your brand. More importantly, it would help if you refrained from doing anything controversial to gain attention; it will only negatively affect your brand.

After all, Rome wasn’t built in a day, but they were laying bricks every hour.

One of the lesser-known services that Apple recently launched is actually the ability to use custom domain names for iCloud Mail. For those unfamiliar with it, iCloud Mail is basically Apple’s email service and platform, similar to Gmail, Yahoo, etc. from Google.

Like most free email services, Apple provides users with their own address, but it ends with @ icloud.com. In many ways, that’s not a bad thing as it saves users the trouble of paying for and setting up their own domain. However, the downside is that like millions of other users, your email will be somewhat generic.

If you plan to use email for business or business reasons, using a free email account might not necessarily look very professional. So there is a reason why some people choose to have a custom domain. The good news is that iCloud Mail now supports custom domains, so here is what you need to do to configure it.

First of all

Before you can set up a custom domain for iCloud Mail, you must first know and have done several things:

  • Have an iCloud + subscription (this is basically a paid iCloud storage plan)
  • You must already have an iCloud primary email address (how to create an iCloud primary email address)
  • You must have registered the domain beforehand
  • Your custom domain should already be able to receive emails (this is required for verification)
  • The device on which you send or receive emails using the custom domain must be iOS 15, iPadOS 15 and / or macOS 12 Monterey or later

Setting up a custom domain for iCloud Mail

  1. Go to icloud.com/parameters
  2. Under Custom email domain, click “Manage
  3. Choose whether or not this area is right for you or for your family
  4. Enter the domain name you want to use and click “Continue”
  5. Unless you plan to add more than one custom domain, click “Add an email address”
  6. Confirm that the email address is correct
  7. You will then receive a verification email to the address you provided
  8. Open the email and click on the “Verify” button
  9. Log in to your domain registrar’s website
  10. Go to settings where you can update your MX records
  11. Apple recommends that you delete your existing MX records and populate them with information on this support page
  12. Once all the information has been changed and saved, go back to iCloud settings and click “Finish setup”
  13. Confirm that your DNS records have been updated
  14. If you come across a DKIM error message, don’t worry, it’s because the DNS records may take a while to propagate through the system, so it may take a few minutes or a whole day, so keep going. to try
  15. Once done, you will need to specify a default outgoing email address (basically the email address that people will see when they receive emails from you)
  16. You should also receive a confirmation email from iCloud to let you know that the setup was successful, along with notification prompts on your paired devices asking if you want to associate the new custom domain with iMessage and FaceTime.

Keep in mind that at the time of writing this is a relatively new feature, as iOS and iPadOS 15 came out not so long ago, and macOS 12 Monterey didn’t. not yet published. We suggest that you do not use this service as your daily driver until you are sure that you can send and receive emails without a hitch.

One of the latest features to arrive for paying iCloud customers is iCloud Plus. The new feature offers several unique benefits, including the ability for iCloud Mail users to use custom email domains.

iCloud Plus allows you to use up to five custom domains to send and receive emails with iCloud Mail. To help you out, here’s what you’ll need to do to use custom email domains in iCloud.

Explanation of custom email domains in iCloud Mail

With an iCloud custom domain, you can send and receive mail using a custom email address. Once you’ve set up the domain, you can configure any existing email addresses you already have, create new ones, or delete ones you no longer need.

To use custom email domains, you must have an Apple ID and use two-factor authentication. You will also need iCloud Mail on your supported devices. You must also be a domain owner.

You can use your personalized email address in the Mail app on any device that’s signed in with your Apple ID and with iCloud Mail turned on or through the ICloud website. Custom email domains can also be used in Messages, FaceTime, and Calendar apps, and to sign in to your device.

At launch, you can send and receive emails with up to five personal domains and up to three addresses per domain.

Setting up custom email domains in iCloud

If you are an iCloud Plus customer and meet the requirements, you can start setting up custom iCloud email domains on the iCloud website.

To set up custom email domains in iCloud:

  1. Connect to the ICloud website.
  2. Click on Account settings.
  3. Scroll down and choose Manage in the Custom Mail Domain section.

  5. Type it domain name in the box.

  9. Connect to your domain account in the pop-up box.
  10. Follow the additional instructions from your domain company.
  11. Choose one default email address from your email list in iCloud Mail.
  12. hurry To continue.
  13. Click on Ended to confirm.

Assuming you’re successful, you should now be able to use your custom domain addresses to send and receive emails on any Apple device that has Mail enabled in iCloud settings or using the iCloud website. You’ll find the email next to your other iCloud email address in the Mail app on your Apple devices.

Examples of iCloud Custom Email Domains

Let’s say you own the domain 1234abc.com and want to start using emails with this domain through iCloud Mail. Once you’ve linked iCloud Mail to your domain account, you can add up to three email addresses.

For example, you can add (via iCloud Mail, not the domain provider itself) self@1234abc.com, partner@1234abc.com, and visitor@1234abc.com. Once you’ve created these email accounts, they’ll be ready to use through the Mail app on iPhone, iPad, or Mac, as well as the iCloud website.

Best of all, they’re included in the price of your paid iCloud account. Most domain providers (GoDaddy, for example) charge a fee for emails.

How to delete custom email domains in iCloud Mail

You can delete custom email domains at any time by following these instructions:

  1. Connect to the ICloud Custom Domain Settings Page.
  2. Click on the custom mail domain you want to delete.
  3. Scroll down and select Stop using this domain.
  4. Click on To continue to confirm your choice.
  5. Follow the additional instructions from your domain company.

Cost and benefits of iCloud over iCloud Plus

Remember that iCloud Private Relay comes with a paid iCloud account. To help you gauge the cost of iCloud versus iCloud Plus, here’s an overview of the four available plans:

  • Everyone gets a free iCloud account that includes 5 GB of iCloud storage. (It doesn’t come with iCloud Plus.)
  • For $ 0.99 / month, you can get an iCloud Plus account with 50 GB of storage.
  • You can get 200GB of iCloud storage, which you can share with your Apple family, for $ 2.99 / month.
  • Finally, the iCloud Plus level (2TB) costs $ 9.99 / month, including family sharing.

iCloud vs. iCloud Plus vs. Apple One

The 200GB and 2TB iCloud Plus accounts are also included in the Apple One Family and Apple One Premium plans, respectively. Plus, you can purchase additional iCloud storage separately to complement what’s included with your. Apple One plan.

The custom email domains feature is a great addition to iCloud and should save you money in the long run. It allows you to add emails for domains you already own without paying extra. Best of all, you can use these email addresses just like you would any other Apple Mail app on multiple devices.

When Apple announced iCloud + at WWDC 2021, it revealed that paid iCloud tiers would receive additional perks such as support for Private Relay and Hide My Email. Another benefit included with iCloud + is the ability to set up a custom iCloud Mail email domain.

The new Custom Mail feature, which is currently in beta, is something iCloud Mail users like me have wanted for years. In this walkthrough, I show you how to set it up.

Why use a custom email domain?

There are several reasons why you might want to choose a custom domain for email. For starters, if you have a business, it can make your business more legitimate. Most importantly, custom email domains allow you to “own” your email address, providing portability that lets you move it between email hosts. If an email host goes out of business or their business practices no longer match mine, I can move them to any host I want whenever I want. I could even host it myself if I wanted to, but this is a tutorial for another day.

A few things to keep in mind

First of all, custom email domains for iCloud Mail are still a beta feature and therefore are only available through beta.icloud.com at this time. With that in mind, I don’t recommend hosting your custom domain with iCloud Mail for very important email addresses or critical jobs. Keep in mind that these are only the settings recommended by Apple. Advanced users can have their own specific DNS record settings according to their needs.

Email hosted on iCloud is also limited to just five domains, and there is currently no wildcard support. In other words, you cannot yet set up a catch-all for emails sent to addresses that are not yet set up.

Guide: How to set up an iCloud Mail custom email domain

The first thing to do before setting up a custom email domain is to own a custom domain. If you already have a domain, you are already one step ahead. If you don’t have a domain yet, it’s very easy to purchase one using a domain registrar. I used Float for years, and I highly recommend it, but you can use any registrar you want.

Once you have a custom domain, you can proceed with setting up your iCloud email with your custom domain.

Step 1: To connect to beta.icloud.com

2nd step: Scroll until you see Custom email domain. Click on the Manage button.

Step 3: On the Custom Email Domain page, select who will use the domain you want to add. To choose Only you whether you will be the only person to use the domain and all associated email addresses. If you want to allow family members to use the domain and associated email addresses, select You and your family. In this tutorial, we will follow the Only You path, but the differences are few.

Step 4: Enter the domain you want to use with iCloud Mail and click Continue. In this example tutorial, I am using duckybenjamin.com, which I purchased from Hover specifically for this tutorial.

Step 5: Since this guide shows you how to set up iCloud Mail with a new custom domain. Click ignore the Add existing email addresses section, we’ll come back and add email addresses to the domain later.

Step 6: Click the View As button Update your domain registrar’s settings. This will open a window describing all the DNS records you will need to add to your domain registrar.

Step 7: Log in to your domain registrar and select your custom domain. If you have any existing DNS records associated with mail, you may decide to delete them at this time.

Step 8: Add the listed DNS records to your domain registrar. You must add a total of five records. The records you need to add are:

MX records

Type Host name Mail server Priority TTL
MX [your_domain.com] mx01.mail.icloud.com. ten 3600
MX [your_domain.com] mx01.mail.icloud.com. ten 3600

TXT records

Type Host name Content Priority TTL
SMS [your_domain.com] view personal TXT record provided by Apple ten 3600
SMS [your_domain.com] v = spf1 redirect = icloud.com ten 3600

CNAME record

Type Host name Target name TTL
CNAME sig1._domainkey sig1.dkim.[your_domain.com].at.icloudmailadmin.com. 3600

A few points to note:

  • Please observe the deadline at the end of the mail server for MX records.
  • Apple provides custom content values for one of the TXT records.
  • The CNAME record is the only record that does not present your domain as a host name.
  • The target name of the CNAME record includes your domain in the full address.
  • TTL values of 3600 = 1 hour

Step 9: Once all the required records are added to your domain registrar, click the Finish setup button to confirm that your settings are correct. It may take several minutes for changes to propagate. Therefore, if you get an error message asking you to verify your MX or SPF record, try again in a few minutes. If you continue to get the error after an extended period of time, verify that you entered the records correctly.

Step 10: After the DNS records are verified, you will receive a message that your domain is ready for use with iCloud Mail. Click the Continue button to continue.

Step 11: Add an email address using the section we skipped in step 5. You need to make sure your email address includes your newly configured custom domain. In my case, I added jeff@duckybenjamin.com. Click Add Email Address to confirm.

Assuming you’re signed in to iCloud on your iOS and Mac devices, you can start receiving notifications that your new email address is available for use with iMessages and FaceTime. If you are not signed into iCloud on your devices, do so now and make sure Mail is enabled for iCloud.

Step 12: Open the Mail app and you should see your custom domain available in the Of dropdown list. You can now send and receive emails through iCloud Mail with your custom domain.

Conclusion

In a matter of minutes, you can buy a new domain and get it working on iCloud Mail. Of course, you don’t have to use iCloud Mail with your custom domain, you can use hosting from Google, FastMail, or others. Whatever you decide to choose, I’m a big advocate of setting up your own custom email domain.

AppleInsider is supported by its audience and may earn a commission when you buy through our links. These affiliate partnerships do not influence our editorial content.

Apple has started showing how iCloud + users will be able to use custom email domains, using other email addresses in a single inbox.

Not even mentioned as an aside during WWDC 2021, Apple is adding the ability to use custom domains in emails. When fully released with macOS Monterey, iOS 15, and iPadOS 15, users will be able to customize their email domain name – and now Apple is showing how that will work.

The intention is that users can replace their old @ icloud.com – or @ mac.com, @ me.com – address and use a custom one instead. So Acme Cartoon owners could switch to @ acmecartoon.com and get all their emails working, just with the new address.

This feature will be present on all platforms, but for now, Apple has started testing it in beta form only online. Existing iCloud users can access beta.icloud.com, sign in and start setting up their custom domains.

At the time of writing, however, starting the process is for all users who are assured of being able to do so. All the steps for choosing an existing domain that you own are present, but the final step of verifying the address does not work.

It could be a coincidence of the moment Appleinsider tested it. This could be due to the overload of Apple’s servers. Or it may just be that Apple’s beta process is focusing on the front-end, the settings section first.

Whether it’s fully activated shortly or when it’s officially released, however, the steps are now clear – and there’s an unexpected caveat.

How to set up custom domains with iCloud +

  2. Click on Account settings
  3. Scroll to Custom email domain and click Manage
  4. Click on Add a domain you own
  5. Select if this feature is something that only you will use, or if your family will share the domain
  6. Type the domain name you want to use instead of @ icloud.com, assuming you own it
  7. Add at least one existing email address, i.e. [email protected]
  8. Click on Add email address
  9. When you have added all the addresses you use on @ acmecartoon.com, or elsewhere, click To confirm
  10. Check the email Apple sends to this address to verify that it’s yours

This last step is where it’s not currently working, or maybe it’s just overloaded. Despite using another option to resend the verification email, Appleinsider has not yet received one.

Issues like this are the reason there are beta releases, so it’s no surprise and the key to all of this is that we now know how it’s going to work.

Beta version needs a button called

Beta version needs a button called “Oh, no it’s not”

Or rather, we know how it’s supposed to work. Right now there is an unexpected caveat which is surely a beta bug.

If you own a domain and use a two-letter username in front of it, as in [email protected], the beta version will refuse to use it. You get an error message telling you that the address is too short.

It is not clear if this is intentional or if it will be fixed before it comes out of beta. But what will likely be fixed is the help link which currently only routes to iCloud’s general functionality page.

One of the features Apple announced during the WWDC21 keynote with iCloud + was the ability to customize email domains. After two months, you can now do this on the iCloud beta site.

As spotted by Applesfera, iCloud subscribers just need to enter beta.icloud.com to create a custom domain. See below for details.

According to Apple, iCloud + will bring new features while users will always pay the same for the service. For example, here’s what the company says about custom email domains on its iOS 15 overview page:

Personalize your iCloud email address with a custom domain name and invite family members to use the same domain with their iCloud email accounts.

Support for custom email domains in iCloud + is a notable addition for iCloud, and it brings feature parity to a long-standing feature of Google Workspace and Microsoft 365. This means tech-savvy teams and families can control their branding online while enjoying the benefits of a hosted server. messaging solution.

Not only that, but iCloud + also brings:

  • Private relay is the new flagship feature of iCloud +. With Private Relay, all traffic leaving your device is encrypted and sent through two separate relays. Apple says no one, not even Apple, can access or view this data. This feature looks a bit like an Apple VPN.
  • Hide my email is a new feature built into Mail, Safari and other services and it allows you to receive unique and random emails that are forwarded to your main account. This means that you can hide your email from the services for added privacy.
  • iCloud + also includes unlimited HomeKit Secure Video Cameras. Currently, iCloud users are limited to five cameras per account, but that limit has been removed for iCloud +.

If you’re signed up for the beta program, just follow these steps to create a custom domain:

  • Open beta.icloud.com.
  • Click iCloud Settings.
  • In “Custom email domain”, click “Manage”.
  • Choose whether you want to create a domain for yourself or for your whole family.
  • After deciding what your domain name is, add an existing email to redirect your messages.
  • Update everything and complete your domain setup.

According to Apple, users can have up to five custom domains, while you and your family members can each have three email addresses per domain.

ICloud + subscribers can now start using custom domain names with iCloud Mail. The new feature, announced at WWDC 2021 alongside iOS and iPadOS 15, has just been released in beta with support for up to five custom domains.

Support for custom domain names allows you to send and receive email messages to an address that does not end with @ me.com or @ icloud.com. It’s available with any iCloud + subscription, with prices starting at just $ 0.99 per month.

Users can add up to five custom domain names that they own, and each can have up to three addresses, either for themselves or for their family members.

How to use custom email domains with iCloud +

To set up your own custom email domains for iCloud Mail, follow these steps:

  1. Visit beta.icloud.com in your internet browser.
  2. Log in to your Apple ID account.
  3. Click your name in the upper right corner, then select Account settings.
  4. Scroll to Custom email domain, then click Manage.
  5. Click on Add a domain you own, then follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup process.

Apple sends a verification email to the custom email address you add, so in case you’re wondering, this feature can’t be used to create spoofed addresses for domains that users don’t own. not really.

iCloud + coming this fall

Support for custom domain names is one of the many new features coming to iCloud + this fall. Others include Private Relay, a service that hides your IP address when using Safari, and Hide My Email.

Hide my email should not be confused with support for custom domain names. This feature simply creates a random email address, which is forwarded to your primary inbox, which you can use when signing up for things like newsletters.

All features are available with an iCloud + account, including the entry-level 50GB option for just $ 0.99 per month. You can upgrade to 200GB of storage for $ 2.99 per month and 2TB of storage for $ 9.99 per month.

Email remains the best medium for professional communication. We use email every day for our business or profession, and it is the most preferred form of communication for business contacts.

Have you ever thought that your emails could have more impact if your email address looked professional?

A work email address should have @ yoursite.com instead of @ gmail.com at the end. So instead of yourname@gmail.com, your email would appear to be from yourname@yourwebsite.com. For example, instead of techexpert@gmail.com, your emails appear to be from techexpert@makeuseof.com.

To create a business email address using Gmail, you must have a custom domain name. Once you have that, keep reading to learn how to configure Gmail to use a custom domain name!

Benefits of a business email address

Professional-e-mail-id

If you run a business or offer services, it is advisable to use a business email address instead of a free one if you can.

Here are the main benefits of a business email address (including, but not limited to):

  • It makes you look legitimate and gives you an air of professionalism.

  • It promotes your brand and acts as an advertisement for your domain.

  • It is less susceptible to hacking than free email addresses.

What you need to create a professional email address

To create a business email address, you need to have two things.

The first thing is a domain name, and the second thing is web hosting. We recommend the following web hosting service providers because of their many benefits:

Steps to create a professional email address

Are you ready to create your new email address? Here’s how to do it:

  1. Log into your web hosting account. Once signed in, select the domain property for which you want to create your work email address.

  2. In your cPanel, go to the email setup page.

  3. Click on “Email Accounts” and find the section where you can create a new email account.

  4. Your host already provides you with @ yourdomain.com. Just enter your name before @ yourdomain.com.

  5. Choose your password and confirm it before continuing.

  6. Select the “Unlimited Mailbox Quota” before clicking the “Create Account” button.

    HostGator Control Panel

To note: The specific individual steps may change depending on which web hosting provider you are using, but the idea and procedure is basically the same no matter what.

There ! You have just created your professional email address. Now we need to pair it with Gmail so that you can use it with Gmail, which allows you to use Gmail to send emails using @ yourdomain.com instead of @ gmail.com.

Setting up Gmail with your personalized email address

Follow these steps to link your new work email address to Gmail:

  1. Log into your Gmail account and go to “Settings” in the upper right corner.

  2. Click on “View all settings”.

  3. Click on the “Accounts and Import” tab at the top.

  4. Scroll down to find “Check Mail from Other Accounts” and click “Add Mail Account.”

  5. You will see a yellow pop-up window. Here you need to fill in the professional email address you created on your web hosting and then click “Next”.

    Add a Gmail email account

  6. Click “Next” with the “POP3” option selected.

  7. In the next window, enter the same username and password that you entered for your web hosting.

  8. Make sure that the POP server indicates “mail.yoursite.com” and check the box “Label incoming messages”.

  9. Click on “Add an account” then check “Yes” for sending mail.

How to create an alias in Gmail

An alias is the name you see when you receive an email. You can choose it to be your first name, middle name and last name, brand name, or any other name you want.

For example, you can create a customer service email address and name your alias “Customer Support”. Your email can be support@yourwebsite.com, and when your customers see your email in their inbox, they can see “Customer Support” as the sender in their inbox.

Once you’ve created your work email address and linked it to Gmail, you’ll be asked to add an alias:

  1. Do not uncheck the “Treat as alias” box when the window opens.

  2. Enter the alias name that you want your customers to see when you send emails. Click on “Next step”.

    Add another email address window

  3. Add the same username and password you used before for your web hosting and association with Gmail.

  4. Use the TLS method and click “Add Account”.

Verifying your new email account

Once you’ve created your work email account and linked it to Gmail, you need to verify it to start sending and receiving emails. To do this, you must:

  1. Go to the “Accounts & Import” tab in Settings.

  2. Scroll down to “Check mail from other accounts” and click “Check mail now.”

  3. You will now see that you have a new email. The new email you see is an email that Gmail sends to you for verification. Initially, you need to check your emails as this is a new account and has no activity history. Once you start sending and receiving emails on this email account, you won’t have to do it manually.

  4. Go to your inbox and you will see the email from the Gmail team. This email contains a link and a one-time password that you must use for verification.

  5. Click on the link and it will open a new window. Click on “Confirm” and close the window.

  6. You will find a code at the end of this email, and you must copy it before pasting it into the yellow window where it asks for your verification code.

Check email on Gmail

Test your new business email with Gmail

Now that you’ve finished creating and associating your new work email address, it’s time to test it before you implement it.

Use any other email account you might have and send yourself a test email to your new work email address. Make sure to also send an email reply from your new email account to make sure it can both receive AND send emails.

Now that you’ve tested your new business email account, I hope everything is going well. You can now use your work email address to send and receive work emails for your business.

You no longer need to send emails to businesses and feel dejected when you don’t receive a reply just because your email is from @ gmail.com!

Enjoy the benefits of a professional email address

These steps may seem intimidating to some of you, but trust me, it should only take 15-20 minutes of your time. The benefits and rewards you will reap by investing those few minutes into creating your professional Gmail email address are priceless.

I have personally benefited a lot from having a professional email address, and the benefits are endless. Immediately get yourself a new professional email address and climb the ladder of professionalism and success!
